"The Future of the wheel: Innovations of the tire industry for a digitized and sustainable mobility of the future"

Hon.-Prof. Dr. Sascha Peters, Haute Innovation, Germany

Foldable wheels, 3D printed tires, airless wheels or energy harvesting technologies for the tire industry. All these are concepts for the future of the wheel, with which the subcontracting industry is looking into the future as a reaction to the increasing digitization and the customer's desire for more sustainability. Dr. Sascha Peters will outline possible future scenarios for wheels and tires.

"Smart Materials for Future Design"

Hon.-Prof. Dr. Sascha Peters, Haute Innovation, Germany

For years, the smart materials have been prophesying a great future. The current multitude of application developments with shape memory alloys, dielectic plastics, piezo materials and magnetic shape memory materials is proof that smart materials will be found in many products in the future. The use of resources for the realization of complex technical systems will thus be significantly reduced. Dr. Sascha Peters will present some of the latest developments in his lecture and will outline the potential of this special group of material.

"Cellulose Printing, 4D Textiles, 3D Printed Electronics: Multimaterial Solutions for Additive Manufacturing"

Hon.-Prof. Dr. Sascha Peters, Haute Innovation, Germany

In the past only a single material could be processed in a 3D printer and the number of materials available on the market was limited. In recent years, the number of available materials on the market has been greatly expanded. Multimaterial printers come on the market, which can process several materials and also allow material combinations. 4D printed textiles and 3D printed electronics are good examples for this trend. In his presentation, Dr. Sascha Peters will present the latest developments and outline the potential for the near future.
