The Foresta-system from mogu is the world’s first acoustic system that combines the refined aesthetics of wood with the innovative character of von mycel material. With the intention of bringing natural materials back into everyday spaces, the development shows a trend that is currently taking place in many industries.
Material innovation for the biological circle
Because for several years scientists, product developers and designers have been looking for ways to use natural resources in the best possible way and to let them circulate in the biological cycle.
Above all, the search for biological binders that can replace conventional systems involves a lot of effort. But now the first products and sustainable materials for furniture design and interior design are coming onto the market and will revolutionize the materials used in interior design.
At the invitation of KölnMesse and on the occasion of the interzum guangzhou, Hon.-Prof. Dr. Sascha Peters will describe the transformation process towards sustainable materials and will present some of the latest developments from the biological cycle.
Interzum guangzhou is the most influential trade fair for the furniture production, woodworking machinery and interior decor industry in Asia and will take place from 28 to 31 March 2022.
Held in conjunction with the Asia’s biggest furniture fair – China International Furniture Fair (CIFF – Office Furniture Show), total 2,100 exhibitors and approximately 200,000 visitors took the opportunity to meet vendors, customers and business partners again in person.
