Advanced materials for the circular economy
Material innovations for the technical supply industry
12–14 November 2024, Jönköping/Sweden
Location: Elmia Subcontractor Trade Show, Jönköping/Sweden
Area: InnoDex, hall D
Innovations in materials and innovations in the material sector are the drivers of the major transformation of industry towards a circular economy. This affects the automotive industry as well as the consumer goods industry and the furniture sector.
Lightweight structures for vehicles made of hemp fiber composites, algae-based wood substitute materials for the furniture industry or loudspeakers made of 3D printed mushroom mycelium material are indications of a trend towards the use of technical biomaterials in the industrial supply industry that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago.
Across a wide range of industries, companies are turning their attention to innovations with and around natural resources in order to reduce the carbon footprint of their products and produce recyclable products.
On behalf of the Swedish trade fair Subcontractor, Haute Innovation will curate the special area “Innodex” and present material innovations for the supply industry in the following three areas:
– Smart Mobility
– Circularity
– Advanced Materials
