The ELMIA Subcontractor fair in Jönköping is the most important exhibition for the technical supplying industry in Northern Europe and Scandinavia. After the big success in 2014 HAUTE INNOVATION was again setting up and implement an innovation exhibition with some of the latest materials developments. The more than 15.000 visitors had the opportunity to see exhibits made from smart and bio-based materials and by means of generative manufacturing technologies.


Highlights of the exhibition showing more than 60 exhibits on 150 sqm:
– Aerographite: Lightest material of the world (Hamburg University of Technology, Germany)
– Aero bicycle made from wooden lamellas (Martino Hutz, Atanas Zhelev, Mariva Korolova, Die Angewandte Wien, Austria)
– Bionic Bike: 3D printed bicycle frame (AWI Bremerhaven, Germany)
– Algae-based synthetics for 3D-printing (ALGIX, USA)
– Printed high-duty ceramics (Lithoz, Austria)
– Fuel filler flap with control mechanism made of shape memory alloy (Fraunhofer IWU, Dresden)
– 3D-printed concrete for aluminum casting (Gtecz, Kassel)
– Memory label for brand protection (Thin Film, Norway)
– Active luminous and reflective vest (TITV Greiz, Germany)
– Printed battery (Fraunhofer ENAS, Chemnitz/Germany)
– Body parts from magnesium sheet (EDAG, Fulda/Germany)
– inMoov lamp with invisible spring (Nina Lieven, Berlin)
