Continually increasing demands for innovative, cost-effective and sustainably manufactured products: The consumers´ requirements are also facing the manufacturers of sweets and snacks with a challenge. Individual product solutions and concepts are thus becoming increasingly important with regards to raw materials and ingredients.
The “Ingredients” event zone will be presented with a new concept in 2022. As a competent platform for product development, ingredients and product innovation, the most important trends in the confectionery industry are shown and some of the most exciting new developments are presented in an exhibition.
KölnMesse, together with the experts from Innova Market Insights from the Netherlands, will present the latest innovations on the basis of the following trend topics:

The contents of the exhibition will be also presented in a lecture by Diana Drewes and Dr. Sascha Peters on February 1st, 2022 in Cologne.
