Now, we are even able to make wood translucent, stone walls can reflect light, and floors glow in all kinds of colors. Luminoso, for example, is a wooden composite that can be used as a transparent partition or projection surface for backlit images. This new quality is achieved with the help of fiberglass mats that are glued between thin wooden plates with PU glue. Depending on the type of wood as well as the spaces between and the thickness of the luminescent material, we can influence the degree of luminescence.
