In recent years, a new generation of biomaterials has emerged that meets high technical standards but can also serve as nutrients for nature at the end of their life cycle.<\/p>\n<h3>New Generation of Highly Developed Natural Materials<\/h3>\n<p>Whether it&#8217;s tree bark for shoes or jackets, algae-based foams for upholstered furniture, or compressed kraft paper for seat shells or electronic components: a new generation of biomaterials is currently poised to enter the market, offering designers across all sectors new opportunities for innovation and unlocking highly interesting circular business models.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the &#8220;From Nature to Nature&#8221; exhibition, Professor Dr. Sascha Peters will offer hourly presentations and guided tours on February 7th, providing an in-depth look at the diverse innovation potential of the materials and demonstrators on display.
