Because wood is not only a renewable raw material but also functions as a deposit for carbon dioxide. With a view to realizing circular solutions, innovations have been increasing in recent times.<\/p>\n

Plastic-free wood-based material innovations without synthetic binders<\/h3>\n

Of particular interest is the large number of materials in which no synthetic polymers and binders are used. In the long term, these will allow cellulose-based resources to circulate in the biological cycle.<\/p>\n

In addition, all the innovations are particularly interesting from start-ups that provide material alternatives to wood-based materials. Whether board material based on fish scales, coconut fibers and tannins<\/a>, fiber boards made from algae or those of agricultural residues, the large number of entrepreneurial activities in this area is remarkable.<\/p>\n
