Heating of the Tube

Using CNT Coating

Most people are familiar with that unpleasant sensation caused by walking barefoot on cold tiles or having to grasp an ice-cold steering wheel during your skiing vacation. Researchers have come up with a solution: carbon nano materials, which apart from special mechanical properties also have excellent electrical and thermal conductivity. Take Carbo e-therm: a coating containing carbon nano tubes and which can be heated up to 100 degrees centigrade. The acrylate- and water-based coating system is operated using a low-voltage system. The advantages: the quick and above all even warming of the heated areas using a small amount of energy and little space. These benefits make Carbo e-Therm especially suited for floors, vehicle armrests or to heat wall coverings.
