Faster into market with new material

Final forum of the series "Materials shape Product"

24 May 2010 · 10:00–16:30

Location: Material Vision (Trade fair Frankfurt)
Organizer: Action line Hessen-Nanotech of the Hessian Ministry of Economics
Program development: Haute Innovation – Agentur für Material und Technologie
Partner: VDID, Hessen Design, Messe Frankfurt
Presentation: Dr. Sascha Peters

With the series of events “Materials shape Product” the action line Hessen-Nanotech of the Hessian Ministry of Economics looks at the potential of new materials and nanotechnologies, which has brought the attention of users and developers, designers, architects and scientists closely interlinked. After the opening conference on the 24th June 2010 in Offenbach, particularly interesting topics in four evening events were discussed.

The final forum of the series on the 24th May 2011 in the context of the Material Vision Trade Fair in Frankfurt, Hessen-Nanotech lets designers and architects come up with far-reaching product innovations as well as scientists to speak, give an insight into current research of new materials technologies. The program was organised by materials expert Dr. Sascha Peters in collaboration with the HA Hessen Agentur GmbH, which manages the action line Hessen-Nanotech as promoters all together.

Colours from air cleaning titanium dioxide, wind turbines for the vineyard, building structures with bamboo walls, or other adaptive capabilities. The culture of the next product generation is characterised mainly by sustained and multi-functional qualities. Innovative materials and nanotechnologies are used to power and to enable the development of resource-saving innovations. This relates to the technology users, the designers and architects, as well as the scientists of research material. We expect an exciting conclusion to the Material Vision Forum and look forward to seeing you there.
